PG&E Training

I helped develop a 6-week training course for PG&E Academy. Learners who successfully completed the course demonstrated the ability to detect gas leak surveys in compliance with California Public Utilities Commission. The hybrid course included a 3 hour online safety module, followed by instructor-led training at the PG&E Academy training center.

Field Emergency Branching Scenario

This branching scenario is part of an online pre-course that ensures learners are prepared for in-person classroom training.

The branching scenario demonstrates how to respond to field emergencies based on PG&E’s procedures. Each question in the scenario offers 3 scaled answers. Selecting the 100% incorrect answer provides feedback and prevents progress. Selecting the 50% incorrect answer progresses to a screen that explains why it may work under other circumstances. Selecting the 100% correct answer provides feedback and progresses to the next stage of the scenario.
